There is an old house in Betty's neighbourhood, and nobody lives there. An old woman in a wheelchair  moves in this morning.

Betty asks her mum, "Can we bring some cookies to our new neighbour?" Mum smiles and says, "Good girl." 

They go to say hello to the old woman. "My name is Emily Harris," the old woman says, "Sorry, my room is messy. I need a lot of time to put things away." Betty's mum says, "If you need anything, let us know." "Thanks so much!" says Miss Harris.

In the afternoon, Betty and her mum want to help Miss Harris do something. They go to Miss Harris's house. The door is unlocked （未锁的）, so Betty peeks in and sees Miss Harris lying on the floor. Betty runs in and says, "____" "I think I broke my arm," says Miss Harris. Betty's mum calls for an ambulance! 

Betty and her mum go to the hospital and take Miss Harris home in the evening. Betty helps Miss Harris put things away. Miss Harris is grateful （感激的） for her work. "Thank you, Betty. I'm so lucky to move into the house next to you," says Miss Harris.
