I still remember the day when Jose first came to our class. Mrs Jones (lead) him into the classroom. He was wearing dirty white shirt. He was so shy that he stood behind Mrs Jones. His shoes made a loud noise when he walked to his desk. All the students looked at him without any words.
I wondered how he felt when everyone's (eye) were on him. I wanted to say "Hi", I was afraid that my friends would make fun of me for talking to "the new kid".
In the following days, Jose was lonely and always ate lunch (quiet) in the school dining hall.
When I got home, I told the whole story to my sister. I hoped (get) some advice from her. "Just follow your heart," my sister said.
The next day, I greeted Jose with a (friend) smile. "Hi, Jose," I said a loud voice.
At first, he looked at me in surprise and smiled back. I saw his eyes were shining with (happy). As time went on, we became good friends.
" (you) smile is the brightest thing I've ever seen. I will never forget it," Jose told me years later.
