Accept your feelings.
Before you can do anything else, you have to realize that you are going to have feelings and there is nothing wrong with that. Instead, tell yourself, "I am feeling this way, and that is acceptable."
Get in the habit of putting your emotions down on paper or in your phone. Try to set aside 20 minutes per day to your diary. Don't worry about grammar and just write quickly to block out any unnecessary thoughts.
