I have two good friends. We were born in (出生于) the same year and we grew up (成长) together. They are Chen Jie and Kate. They are both 12 years old. 

Chen Jie is handsome. He likes black. Last week, we went shopping together. He bought (买) some black T-shirts and I bought a cute purple pencil box. 

Kate lives with her grandparents now. In her family photo, you can also see her parents and a lovely pet parrot named Tommy that can even speak a little English. She thinks he is one of her family members, too. Kate loves music. She often plays the piano when she is free. 

We are students in Sunshine Middle School. Our Chinese teacher is Wang Fuxing. Her class is fun and she is always kind to us. So we all like her very much.
