Bianca Brown, a junior at Springfield High School, had always enjoyed arts and crafts as a child. So, when her busy schedule was crossed out by COVID-19, Bianca looked to her past to design her future.

She ordered ingredients (材料) and mixed them together to create soaps of different shapes and other personal care products. "I really could start a business doing this," she thought.

Thus, Bianca created Simply B. LLC, a beauty brand selling personal care products to friends and family at first. Through the use of the social media app, TikTok, Bianca was able to reach thousands of customers.

"I woke up to 50 orders the next day after my first video spread on the Internet," she said.

"It's unbelievable. I don't even know how I really got all that done, to be honest with you."

Bianca is among the busiest at her high school. She plays volleyball, runs track and field, and recently started a Black student union. She is a member of the community service club and is also a part of the National Honour Society. With her high marks, it's clear that none of her academic (学业的) responsibilities take a back seat to her small business. But still, Bianca succeeds as both student and businesswoman.

Bianca hopes to continue building her brand in the future and possibly help other children follow their dreams. "I really want to influence other kids and show them how to be young businessmen or businesswomen and feel that someone could be encouraged by me," she said.

Air-crash investigators Larry Vance and Anthony Brickhouse have details from certain jobs rooted in their memories. They could tell exact dates, locations, and fight numbers effortlessly. Vance's "big one" is Swiss Air Flight 11 in 1998. He was put in the position of dealing with all the families from very early on, many of whom held the hope that their relatives could have survived. All 229 passengers and crew died. Burning fabric; burning flesh. The smell catches in your throat, and stays in your mind long after you've left the scene. Investigations can take anywhere from days to years.

"What can affect people in these jobs is the ongoing emotional damage," said Vivien Lee, a psychologist. But mental health assistance is often lacking within the industry. Evidence suggests that investigators. like first responders, can suffer from negative emotional effects, including frequent thoughts and PTSD (创伤后应激障碍).

"One emotion of losing relatives is anger," Brickhouse reflected. "And they're looking to you to figure out what happened to their loved ones." Depending on the size of the crash, that anger can come alongside a lot of international media attention."

But more often, Vance said, the questions he faces are perhaps even tougher to answer than what caused the crash. "How did my loved one die? What were they feeling? What were they seeing?" And tougher still: "Were they suffering?"

Listening to the black box recordings takes an emotional damage. He said it was more unbearable by knowing that he's listening to the final minutes of someone's life. Some people in his industry listen to a black box recording once and choose to never do it again, he said.

The knowledge that they're doing an essential job can make the tougher aspects of the work a little easier. "The end result of your work is that you try to make the world a safer place, so that this doesn't happen to somebody else," Vance said.

When James Haskell started playing professional rugby football, technology' influence was very limited. One of its first and important uses within the game, he says, was just urine testing (尿检). "A lot has changed since then. Now all the players wear GPS heart-rate monitors," the former England and Wasps ruby union player says. Data and technology have become important parts of a professional sports team and its players' lives, Haskell says.

But this is only the beginning.

The first thing you'll notice about each English dialect is the shift in pronunciation. This shift, better known as an accent, is an important element of a dialect. . Don't worry too much about this. What's important is that you're able to identify differences during conversations and feel comfortable adapting to them.

Studies show that children who primarily speak a dialect are hyper-aware of the differences, and are able to reach reading and writing goals more quickly as a result.  Learning a dialect, rather than just the standard language, requires a deeper dig into cultural nuances (细微差异) that aren't lost on native speakers. In short: Learning a dialect shows that you care! It's an incredible way to connect with new cultural communities in the process.

Before you learn a dialect, you should have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of a "standard" language. That way, you'll be able to gain meaning through context.  Movies, music, books, and news are all fantastic ways to pick up on those dialectical nuances.

Actually, many Wenchuan Brothers have participated in the search and rescue operations for the Luding earthquake. Of the 74 people from the Wenchuan brigade, many are13 from Wenchuan. With an average age of 27, they14 the Wenchuan earthquake and want to help people facing15 difficulties.

Indonesian university student Tyas spends about eight hours a day on her phone. That time includes  (watch) videos, chatting with friends and using social media.

It was Emily's turn to tell her class where she went this summer. She stood up proudly.

"This summer I went to Bradley, Emily announced." It has a big market there. My mom bought a painting and I got a second-hand skateboard. What an impressive trip it was!"
