Anna Walker (A tour guide in Chester):

Close to the English and Welsh border, the city of Chester has a long history. It's filled with buildings of historic sites, including some historic city walls in the county. For tourists who plan a visit to Chester this year, there's plenty on offer, including a new, free, self-guided tour that lines the city's four main streets. Chester's Rows are unique(独特的) in the world, which form a second row of shops above those at street level. Nobody is quite sure why they were built this way But the new tour offers an insight into their fascinating history and the shaping of Chester.

Brian Clarke (A boat driver in Chester):

I was born in the small village of Mancot, six miles from Chester, and once I moved here,I have simply never wanted to leave the city. The city itself has so much to offer but most of all I love the beautiful River Dee. My favorite spot in Chester is the tee-lined banks of the River Dee. I walk into work at Chester Boat every day and it's great to be able to walk through Grosvenor Park and come out at Oueens Park Bridge. Chester Boat business began in Chester over 100 years ago. I started as a boat driver in 1979 and have had a wonderful life.

Katrina Kerr (An old lady in Chester):

I'm a Londoner but in 1998 my husband and I moved to Chester. It was the perfect location and we really felt we had “escaped to the country". It looks different from other cities so many black and white buildings. During the summer it is busy with tourists and race-goers, and in the winter, you can enjoy comedy clubs, jazz and Folk bars. Chester is right on the border with Wales, so for centuries it has been a bit English and a bit Welsh. Now a new generation have started businesses in travel and finance(金融). And the city now feels young and buzzy.

In the doorway, I looked closely at the face of my 23-year old son, Daniel. We were saying goodbye. In a few hours he would be flying to France. It was a transitional(过渡的) time in Daniel's life, a passage from college into the adult world. I wanted to leave him some words that would have some meaning, some importance beyond the moment. But nothing came from my lips. No sound broke the silence of my beachside home. I stood frozen and quiet, looking into the searching eyes of my son, which I knew was not the first time I had let such a moment pass.

When Daniel was five, I took him to the school bus stop on his first day of kindergarten. I felt the fear in hand holding mine as the bus turned the corner. I saw his hot cheeks as the bus pulled up. He looked at me - as he did now.“ What is it going to be like, Dad? Can I do it? Will I be OK?" Then he walked up the bus steps and disappeared inside. The bus drove away, and I said nothing.

Ten years later, a similar scene played itself out. I drove him to college in Virginia. As I started to make the trip home, I tried to think of something to say to give him courage and confidence as he started this new period of life. I left, only mumbling, “Hope you feel better, Dan."

I once told Daniel about my great regret that I didn't take a year off to travel. Daniel thought about this. After graduation, he worked as a waiter, a bike messenger and a painter. Now he had enough money for Paris. The night before he left, I tossed and turned in bed. I was trying to figure out something to say. Nothing came. Maybe it wasn't necessary to say anything.

How many times have we let such moments pass? What does it matter over the course of lifetime if a father never tells a son what he really thinks of him?

Having a younger sibling(兄弟,姐妹) might make you slimmer, according to a research from Michigan University. Siblings, whether younger or older, help prevent their sisters or brothers from feeling unloved, lonely and fearful, according to the study. That can be an advantage when you reach adulthood.

Having brothers and sisters makes you more helpful. The same research, which looked at 395 families, found that having siblings made you twice as likely to do good deeds. Also it makes you more empathic(有同理心的)。A study of more than 450 Canadian families found that if a sibling is warm and kind, the other siblings are likely to have the same qualities. The study also found that having a close relationship with siblings when you're older can lead to greater life happiness and fewer bad emotions. That is to say, the bond between you and your siblings is very important as you enter old age.

Siblings can help you have a healthier lifestyle and live longer. A national survey of more than 15,000 people found that 43 percent of people believed their family and friends have the biggest effect on their health. In a study from Sociological Association, the elderly who have close relationship with the family members had a 6 percent chance of dying over the next five years, compared to a 14 percent risk for the people who are not so close to the family members.

If you don't have brothers and sisters, don't worry.  ▲ Researches show that having close friends can help improve your health, happiness and long life. So try to make friends by signing up to groups or classes and finding people who enjoy the same things as you. For more health tips and stories, click newsletter at readersdigest.co.uk.

The Tiangong space station is a space station which is being constructed by China. The construction of the station is based on the experience from its pioneers, Tiangong-l and Tiangong-2. The first module(舱), the Tianhe core module, was launched(发射) on 29 April 2021, followed by two more modules to be launched in 2022.

According to China Manned Space Agency(CMSA), which operates the space station, the purposes of Tiangong space station are as follows: permanent(永久的) human operations in orbit, long-term spaceflight of the space station, life support technology, ane the hey technology that helps future deep space research.

The Tianhe Core Cabin Module(CCM) provides life support and living room for three astronauts and provides navigation(导航) for the station. The module also provides the station's power and life support system. The station is equipped with a small kitchen for food preparation and especially a first ever microwave oven in the spaceflight, so that astronauts can always have hot food whenever they need. 120 different types of food, which are based on astronauts' preference, are stored in the station.

China's plan to build its own space station was started after NASA refused China's participation in International Space Station in 2011. On 22 February 2017, CMSA and Italian Space Agency(ASD) signed an agreement to cooperate(合作) on long-term human spaceflight activities. The agreement holds importance due to Italy's leading position in the field of human spaceflight, and it shows Italy's expectation in China's developing space station program. Tiangong is also expected to do more experiments with many other countries.
