Australia is a big island, so we have lots of beaches. Most people go during the summer holidays, from December to the end of January. That's when Christmas is, too. At popular beaches, you might even see someone dressed as Santa Claus(圣诞老人)!
My favorite game is when my dad makes sandcastles(沙堡). My brother and I destroy(破环) them one by one! When we get older, we learn to boogie board(趴板冲浪). It is riding a wave on a board.It's like surfing but you don't stand up. You feel like you're flying！
I like collecting shells and take them home. Shells are so beautiful！
